El Paso combined rates were about 1.98% to 3.12% in 2025, depending on the area. Look up the rate for an address at EPCAD. After you move in and apply, the $140,000 school homestead exemption can lower your school taxes. This estimate doesn't include it.

Who pays the owner's title policy?

In El Paso the seller usually pays. Your contract says who pays. Texas sets title premiums, so they're the same at every title company.
